You will complete a health history form prior to your appointment. Your massage therapist will also do a physical exam to assess your needs. We believe in a collaborative approach: your therapist will develop a treatment plan with you to ensure it is specific and helpful to your needs.
The treatment plan can be changed at any time, and will be reassessed as needed. This involves setting goals for treatment, talking about results, and providing information about more care options to support your wellness.
Is massage therapy covered by OHIP and/ or my extended health benefits plan?
Many extended health benefit plans or workplace insurance plans will cover part or all of the services by an RMT. (Note: RMT services are not OHIP covered). We do not require a referral or prescription for your appointment.
