Our anxiety counselling service in Toronto aims to achieve a better understanding excessive worries you may have. Reducing the amount one worries, identifying and reducing fears and stresses, and regaining the feeling of control of one’s life are essential components of anxiety counselling. It is important to learn to trust yourself and identity values. In addition, we will work to understand triggers (people, places, and/or situations) for feelings of anxiousness in order to better predict when one might feel anxious. Anxiety counselling also involves developing strategies (such as mindfulness and relaxation) to manage and reduce physical symptoms of anxiety.
Your first session involves initial assessment of your well being and a thorough intake of your personal history and background. Subsequent therapy sessions are 50 minutes in length, and are unique to each individual treatment plan.
What is Anxiety?
