Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
We’re all tasked with the burden of finding meaning in a large, indifferent world. It's natural to feel lost and uncertain as we struggle to understand our purpose in life. Over and over, we’re met with trauma, and it can feel hopeless to keep facing that pain alone. Therapy can help you recognize that you’re capable of creating a life that feels more meaningful.
Every person has an inherent capacity for self-actualization. As a therapist, my role is to help remove the barriers that prevent you from reaching this capacity and to reconnect you with your values—the compass that guides you on your path. I provide a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space for you to explore the profound questions you've been asking.
I believe that life is a constant process of creation, and I utilize various techniques to help you manifest your creative potential as the author of your own life. Together, we’ll delve into the unconscious processes and behavioral patterns that may be hindering you from living your life to the fullest. My approach incorporates a range of modalities, including art therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Existential Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, somatic work, and mindfulness practices.
As a student in Yorkville University's Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program, I am committed to learning and growing alongside you. Our work together will promote self-growth, exploration, and meaning-seeking, while reaffirming your ability to enact the changes you wish to see in your life.
